Hollerado was a Canadian indie-rock quartet consisting of Menno Versteeg (lead vocals, guitar), Nixon Boyd (lead guitar, backing vocals), Dean Baxter (bass, backing vocals) and Jake Boyd (drums, backing vocals). Three members of the band grew up on the same street in Ottawa and later recorded material in Montreal where their catchy, radio friendly tunes gained attention. The band has toured extensively in North America, South America, Europe and China, playing with acts such as The Flaming Lips, Weezer, Black Lips, Jack White and Andrew W.K. whilst also playing festivals including SXSW, NXNE, On February 20, 2019, Hollerado announced that they would be parting ways after releasing one last self-produced album, entitled "Retaliation Vacation."
